NSE4 exam was
launched by Fortinet. The NSE4, Fortinet
Network Security Expert 4 Written Exam (400) professional designation
certification validates that the candidate has the ability to configure,
install and monitor the FortiGate Unified threat management products in a
network of customer.
Anyone who
wants to get this certification is required to pass the exam first by taking it
at Pearson VUE test center. There are some training sources that have been
launched by the Fortinet for the IT professionals who are interested in getting
this certification. These two training courses are FortiGate I and FortiGate
II.
The NSE4 Exam is a replacement
of the earlier exam that is FCNSA+ FCNSP certification. These two earlier
certification exams have now been retired and are not available anymore.
The present
FCNSP certification qualifies NSE4 exam for a very limited time. This FCNSP v4
certification will be considered as NSE4 only through h 31st
December 2015. While FCNSP v5 certification will be honored as NSE4 through 31st
December 2016. Candidate who has NSE4,
Fortinet Network Security Expert 4 Written Exam (400) is required to renew
his exam before the FCNSP certification expires.

candidates who are recognized as pro-sales and support personnel are the
candidates who are focused by the exam. Those candidates who want to get the
recognition and acknowledgement can also be the targeted audience by the exam. FortiGate
network security professionals are also the most significant and highly
demanded individuals by the NSE4
Certification.
The NSE4 certification
test is valid only for 2 years after that it will be expired and candidate will
have to retake the exam at the Pearson VUE test center.
Details of the NSE4 exam:
The NSE4
Fortinet Network security professional exam is available all across the world
in English language. Candidate can get registered to the exam at Pearson VUE. The
registration fee of the exam is 400$. There is a total 60 questions in the
exam. The candidate is given 2 hours to sit in the exam. The passing score of
the exam is 70%. Anyone who fails to achieve this would be considered fail and
will have to reappear in the exam. There will be not partial marking in the
exam and no negative marking in the exam. The questions are in the form of
multiple choice questions and some of the questions are also in the form of
multiple select. Anyone who fails the NSE4,
Fortinet Network Security Expert 4 Written Exam (400) Test can apply to
reappear in the exam. Candidate will have to wait for 15 days to retake the
exam.
